Overview

Nepali Congress is one of Nepal's largest and oldest political parties, with a national structure that includes the central party, multiple sister organizations (sangathans), and thousands of individual members. The platform brings all of that online under a single multi-tenant system rather than a one-off site.

Key features

  • Central party website for nepalicongress.org
  • Separate, independently manageable websites for each sangathan / sister organization
  • Individual member profile sites generated from the same platform
  • Shared content and media management across tenants
  • Role-based access so each organization and member manages only their own site

My role

I worked as full-stack developer across both backend and frontend, designing the multi-tenant architecture so each sangathan and member site is isolated in data and permissions while sharing the same underlying platform and infrastructure.

Stack

Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, a Django REST Framework API on the backend, and PostgreSQL for storage, with the data model built around tenant isolation to support the party's full organizational structure.
